On the evening of July 4, 2024, at approximately 9:55 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting incident in the 2100 block of 52nd Street, near South Lancaster Road in East Oak Cliff. Upon arrival, officers discovered 46-year-old Hector Alvarez Rosales inside a residence, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite prompt medical attention, Rosales was pronounced dead at the scene.
