On October 21, 2023, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting incident in the 200 block of Stoneport Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered 20-year-old Darius Dewayne Young in a parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound. Young was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
