On February 1, 2023, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Dallas police officers responded to a shooting call in the 2500 block of Marburg Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 38-year-old Erica Davis inside a residence with a fatal gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
