On the evening of February 15, 2023, 29-year-old Refugio Alvarez was fatally shot at a Northwest Side apartment complex in San Antonio, Texas. The incident occurred just before 9 p.m. in the 10500 block of Bandera Road. Upon arrival, San Antonio police officers found Alvarez in the parking lot, suffering from two gunshot wounds to the chest and one to the hand.
