On February 23, 2023, 30-year-old Julio Martinez was fatally shot during a familial dispute in Willis, Texas. The incident occurred around 3:00 a.m. at a residence in the 700 block of Pine Circle Drive, where Julio and his 33-year-old brother, Oscar Martinez, became embroiled in a heated argument. During the confrontation, Oscar allegedly drew a firearm and shot Julio before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
