On April 13, 2023, Jason Brown, a 30-year-old resident of San Antonio, Texas, was fatally shot in the driveway of his East Side home. The incident occurred just after midnight in the 1100 block of Wyoming Street, near South Pine Street. According to preliminary reports from the San Antonio Police Department, Brown was returning home when he was possibly followed by two individuals in a black vehicle. As he exited his car, the suspects approached and opened fire, striking him multiple times.
Brown's body was later discovered in his backyard.
Following the shooting, the assailants fled the scene, and despite an ongoing investigation, they have not been apprehended. In an effort to gather information leading to their arrest, Crime Stoppers announced a reward of up to $5,000. Authorities have urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers directly, emphasizing that tips can remain anonymous and may result in a reward if they lead to a felony arrest.
