On the evening of April 25, 2023, 16-year-old Emmanuell Alexander was fatally shot in Dallas, Texas, following a minor traffic incident. While traveling on Santa Anna Avenue near Shiloh Road, the vehicle Emmanuell was in clipped side mirrors with an oncoming beige or tan SUV or truck. The driver of the other vehicle turned around, approached, and fired multiple shots into Emmanuell's car, striking him.
The driver of Emmanuell's vehicle drove approximately eight miles to the 4600 block of East RL Thornton Freeway, where they flagged down Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel. Emmanuell was transported to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
Emmanuell was a beloved son and brother, known for his infectious smile and caring nature. Born on September 12, 2006, in Dallas, he attended schools in Richardson ISD and later Dallas Can Academy. He was affectionately nicknamed "Man Man" for his wisdom beyond his years and had a close bond with his family.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with Emmanuell's death. The suspect remains unidentified, and the Dallas Police Department continues to investigate the case.
