On May 11, 2023, Juan Carlos Piedra Ceballos, a 37-year-old man from Irving, Texas, was fatally shot. The incident occurred when Ceballos was sitting in his car. According to witnesses, a 40-year-old man named Carlos Munguía walked out of his apartment and shot Ceballos.
