Death by Force

On October 22, 2023, just before midnight, a Travis County Sheriff's Office (TCSO) patrol deputy was flagged down by a man on Wells Branch Parkway in north Travis County, Texas. The man directed the deputy to a red 2023 Nissan Sentra with front-end damage. Inside the vehicle's backseat, 29-year-old Nahiean Edwin Wright of Killeen was found unresponsive, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Wright was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
