On November 21, 2023, 19-year-old Jagger Joshua Muñoz was fatally shot behind an apartment complex in the 6100 block of Whitby Road on San Antonio's Northwest Side. Witnesses reported hearing a disturbance before a single gunshot, after which Muñoz was found lying on the ground, having fallen from a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
