Yudjy F. Cherubin, a 17-year-old junior at La Vergne High School, was tragically shot and killed on April 30, 2018, in La Vergne, Tennessee. Cherubin, who was African American, was lured to a parking lot outside a condo in the 2000 block of George Buchanan Drive under the pretense of buying an iPhone. He had taken his younger siblings with him in the car, and they witnessed the horrifying event.
