Marakus Rocko Quezaun Pickett, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 22, 2019, in San Antonio, Texas. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. when Pickett was driving down the frontage road of Loop 410 and Cripple Creek. He was shot twice, once in the stomach and once in the leg. Despite his injuries, Pickett managed to drive his car to the entrance of the Spanish Oaks Apartments located in the 3200 block of Cripple Creek. He then exited his vehicle and ran inside ...
