On April 14, 2024, at approximately 2:30 a.m., 20-year-old De-mauriae Wayne Grinage and 19-year-old Marquis Green were fatally shot in the 6500 block of Delgado Run on San Antonio's East Side. The two were standing in the garage of a residence when an unknown assailant approached the open garage door and opened fire, striking both individuals. Emergency responders arrived shortly thereafter and pronounced Grinage and Green dead at the scene.
