Zachary Benavidez, a 23-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost his life on June 7, 2016, in San Antonio, Texas. Benavidez was working as a store clerk at the Diamond Food Mart on Vance Jackson Road when he was shot multiple times during an attempted robbery. The incident occurred when two suspects entered the store and demanded that customers get on the ground.
