Jonathan Murphy, a 42-year-old man from San Antonio, Texas, tragically lost his life on January 22, 2017. He was killed during a robbery at the Rolling Oaks Mall while trying to protect his wife and others around him. Murphy and his wife, Aimee, were at the mall to get their wedding rings cleaned when two suspects attempted to rob the Kay Jewelers store.
