On February 26, 2024, 24-year-old German Gutierrez was fatally shot at the Aspire Apartments located in the 1800 block of Bandera Road in San Antonio, Texas. Residents reported hearing approximately four to six gunshots before discovering Gutierrez lying face down on the sidewalk. Upon arrival, San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) officers found that Gutierrez had sustained a single gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
