On December 9, 2023, Houston police and firefighters responded to reports of a vehicle engulfed in flames on Nelson Street in southwest Houston. After extinguishing the fire, authorities discovered the body of 39-year-old Adrean Arrington in the trunk; he had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
