On April 4, 2024, at approximately 7:05 p.m., 45-year-old Scypion Jamaal Goodin was fatally shot outside an apartment complex in the 9500 block of Royal Lane in Dallas, Texas. Emergency responders arrived promptly, but Goodin was pronounced dead at the scene.
In the course of their investigation, Dallas Police released surveillance images of three individuals—a woman and two men—seen in the vicinity around the time of the shooting, seeking public assistance in identifying them.
