On March 22, 2020, Kaleb Simpson, a 20-year-old male from Dallas, Texas, was tragically shot and killed in the parking lot of Summerwood Cove Apartments in Far Northeast Dallas. Simpson was in a car with another individual when a dark-colored Nissan sedan pulled up behind them and opened fire. Simpson was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other person was shot in the hand and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
