Joseph Syas, a 65-year-old man of African American ethnicity, was found dead on the sidewalk in the 6700 block of Eastridge Drive in Dallas, TX, on May 17, 2022. He had been shot in the face and was pronounced dead at the scene by Dallas Fire-Rescue.
