He was the first child born to Joyale Billard and DeRoyal Talley Sr., and he is survived by his mother, step-father, siblings, and a host of other family and friends.
On the day of his death, Talley was shot along with 17-year-old Demareyea
Bazile and a 16-year-old juvenile inside a vehicle at 2700 Palo Alto Drive in South Dallas. Dallas Fire and Rescue transported all three victims to local hospitals, where Talley and Bazile later succumbed to their injuries. The third victim survived and underwent surgery.
The Dallas Police Department arrested 18-year-old Lexington Malik Wright in connection with the shooting.
