On May 9, 2024, at approximately 8:07 p.m., the Austin Police Department responded to multiple reports of a shooting at the Canyon Ridge Apartments, located at 12118 Walnut Creek Crossing in North Austin. Upon arrival, officers discovered 27-year-old Isaac Jimenez deceased on the second floor of Building 5.
