On June 3, 2024, 46-year-old Fredy "Alex" Amaya was fatally shot while driving home from work in Houston, Texas. His vehicle was discovered on the ramp connecting the North Beltway to the North Freeway northbound around 6:30 p.m., initially appearing to have been involved in a single-car accident.
