James Jebty J.j. Pipes

Special Officer James Jebty "J.J." Pipes, aged 40, was shot and killed on October 2, 1911, in Houston, Texas. He was a member of the Southern Pacific Railroad Police Department. Pipes was killed while protecting railroad property and employees during a strike.
