Anthony M. Aitken Jr., 37, male, Black/African American, was shot at least once late on the night of July 7, 2025, at an apartment complex at 535 Seminar Drive in Houston, Texas. Officers responding around 10:15 p.m. found him wounded; paramedics rushed him to a nearby hospital where doctors later pronounced him dead. His killing drew the attention of Houston Police Department homicide investigators, who began piecing together what happened in the hours after the gunfire.
