On the evening of February 28, 2025, 15-year-old Hispanic male Christopher Joaquín García was fatally shot in northeast Houston, Texas. The incident occurred around 8:50 p.m. in the 7300 block of Hershe Street, approximately a block from his home. Christopher was found unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.
