Saul Cruz, a 71-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically murdered on December 22, 2015, in Houston, Texas. Cruz, who had emigrated from El Salvador, was working as a security guard at a gas station convenience store in southwest Houston when he was ambushed and shot by two suspects, Jonathan Vasquez and Daniel Moreno.
