Anastacio Cantu III, also known as "Boxer," tragically lost his life on September 11, 2024, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 53. The incident occurred at 7817 Detroit Street around 3:10 a.m. when Cantu called 9-1-1 to report that he had been shot.

Houston Police Department patrol officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene. Cantu was transported to an area hospital where he was unfortunately pronounced deceased. Initially, there were no known suspects or vehic ...
