In the early hours of July 3, 2024, 31-year-old Demarco "Marco" Ewing was fatally shot near a taco truck at the intersection of Richmond Avenue and Dunvale in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m., when a white car approached the busy food truck. Surveillance footage shows an individual exiting the passenger side of the vehicle and firing multiple shots at Ewing, who was struck in the neck and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
