Michael Wayne Moon, a 59-year-old man from Pinetown, North Carolina, tragically died on August 21, 2013, from a gunshot wound to the head. Moon was found unresponsive at his residence on Long Ridge Road by deputies who responded to an emergency call. He was employed by Domtar Paper Company and was known to be an avid fisherman and motorcyclist.

Following the incident, Dee Trent Reifinger, Moon's 54-year-old girlfriend and resident of the same address, was charged with his murder. Reifinge ...
