Daquavoan Lavar Brown, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 10, 2018, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Daquavoan, affectionately known as "Quavo," was shot at a Motel 6 located at 4416 South Tryon Street. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the motel, where gunfire erupted, leading to his untimely death.
