On July 14, 2024, at approximately 5:15 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the Victory Park neighborhood near the intersection of North Houston Street and Nowitzki Way. Upon arrival, officers found 18-year-old Jake Reynosa lying in the street with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
