On September 7, 2024, at approximately 11:00 p.m., San Antonio police responded to a shooting incident in the 200 block of Balboa Avenue on the city's West Side. Upon arrival, officers discovered 33-year-old Cody Clemente Guerrero lying in the street with gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
