On November 1, 2024, at approximately 8:51 p.m., 21-year-old Kevin Villafranca Torres was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head on the southbound Frontage Road near 7077 N Expressway 77/83 in Brownsville, Texas. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on November 3, 2024.
