Damon Lino Jr., a 24-year-old resident of North Augusta, South Carolina, was found dead on February 17, 2022, in his home located around Murphy Village. The Edgefield County Sheriff's Office identified his death as "suspicious" and launched an investigation to determine the cause. Authorities were notified about his death around 9:40 p.m. on the night he was found. Lino lived with his grandmother, and his mother and stepfather resided in a nearby home.
