On December 23, 2023, at approximately 8:30 p.m., 22-year-old Adam Hunter Garza was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting while standing in front of his home in the 3200 block of E. 28th Street in Brownsville, Texas. He was transported to Valley Baptist Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
