On March 4, 2023, at approximately 6:03 p.m., Stockton Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 2100 block of South Airport Way. Upon arrival, they discovered two male victims, 29-year-old Jacob Haywood Thomas and 24-year-old Andrea Jones, both suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to a local hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.
