On the evening of December 20, 2024, at approximately 8:20 p.m., Stockton police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of East Bianchi Road. Upon arrival, they discovered 52-year-old Tyree Jones III, an Oakland resident, suffering from a gunshot wound. Jones was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
