Laurits "Pepe" Petersen, a 75-year-old retired police officer from Stockton, California, tragically lost his life on February 23, 2016. Petersen was attacked and fatally stabbed at Cortez Park on Tam O'Shanter Drive in Stockton. The incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. when Petersen was confronted by his assailant.
