Denise Diane Sapp Highfill, aged 36, tragically lost her life on June 18, 1990, in Jacksonville, Florida. Her death was part of a horrific spree killing carried out by James Edward Pough. On that fateful day, Pough entered the General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC) office in Jacksonville and opened fire indiscriminately with a semi-automatic rifle. Denise Highfill, who was present at the GMAC office, was among the victims who succumbed to their injuries during this brutal attack.
