On March 21, 2023, 21-year-old Eric William Cavazos was fatally shot at a strip mall in Concord, California. The incident occurred around 9:45 a.m. near Solano Way and Broadmoor Avenue, where Cavazos and his stepfather were confronted by two individuals. During this encounter, both Cavazos and his stepfather sustained gunshot wounds; tragically, Cavazos succumbed to his injuries, while his stepfather survived.
