Death by Force

On the evening of September 15, 2023, at approximately 7:30 p.m., a shooting occurred near the intersection of Manchester Avenue and Broadway in South Los Angeles. Responding officers from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) found 38-year-old Chauncy Johnson with a fatal gunshot wound to the head; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
