Alex Gutierrez, a 24-year-old Latino man, was tragically shot and killed on September 18, 2019, in the Wilmington neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred around 3:11 p.m. in the 800 block of Bayview Avenue, where Gutierrez was among a group of people gathered to memorialize his brother, who had been killed in the same location in March 2018.
