On a warm summer evening in Phoenix, Arizona, Ernie Solano, a 50-year-old male, found himself at a convenience store located at 4202 West Camelback Road. The date was Saturday, July 30, 2016, and the time was approximately 10:00 p.m. After making a purchase, Solano had just stepped out of the store when the night was suddenly pierced by the sound of a gunshot.
