On March 28, 2024, at approximately 9:30 p.m., 17-year-old Jordan Malik Brady was fatally shot in Hallidie Plaza, adjacent to the Powell Street BART station in San Francisco. Officers from the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) responded to the scene and found Brady suffering from gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead on-site.
