Lasalle Thompson, a 44-year-old resident of San Francisco, was tragically shot to death on the night of July 8, 2014. The incident occurred in the Bayview neighborhood, specifically near La Salle Avenue and Las Villas Court. Responding to a ShotSpotter alert at approximately 11:30 p.m., police officers found Thompson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
