On June 3, 2024, at approximately 6:00 p.m., 18-year-old Henry Granado II of Pittsburg, California, was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting on the 1100 block of Macaulay Street in Antioch. Officers from the Antioch Police Department responded to reports of a shooting and found Granado near the sidewalk, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite immediate first-aid efforts, he was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
