On May 22, 2023, at approximately 6:00 p.m., a violent altercation erupted on Beech Street in Columbia, Tennessee, involving eight young men who were acquainted with one another. The confrontation escalated into an exchange of gunfire, resulting in multiple individuals sustaining gunshot wounds. Among the victims was 19-year-old Thomas Jack Keiser, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at Maury Regional Medical Center.
