On May 31, 2025, in Columbia, Tennessee, John Bidle, a 46-year-old male who was White/Caucasian, was killed during a sudden burst of gunfire on Somerset Lane in the Grove Park neighborhood. Police were called at approximately 3:07 p.m. and found multiple victims; Bidle was pronounced dead at the scene.
