Death by Force

On September 4, 2024, Harold "BJ" Lee Grisham III, aged 37, was fatally shot at his residence near Old Leipers Creek Road in Columbia, Tennessee. Grisham lived at the property with his girlfriend.

Authorities identified 46-year-old Michael Van Dobbs as the primary suspect in Grisham's death. Dobbs, whose criminal history in Maury County dates back to 2002, has faced 44 charges over 21 years, including theft, burglary, drug-related offenses, child endangerment, and assault.
